God Will Redeem Your Brokenness

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalms 34:18

God’s name is Jehovah Rapha. He is the God Who Heals.

Jesus will heal and restore every broken piece of your life. He cares for you so deeply. He sees your mourning. He catches your tears in a bottle. He is there to comfort you when you sit. God is the Father of Compassion.

He understands your pain. He took every ounce of it to the cross. He buried it with Him and rose again to give you resurrection power. He has more for you. He withholds no good thing. He wants you to live a beautiful abundant life that is full of His love.

You will not grieve forever. That is not your portion. You will see the sun shine upon your face in His great glory. You will look upon His presence in awestruck wonder. Cling unto the Lord during this time. Let go of the past. Look away from the future. Fix your gaze on Jesus here right now…in the present moment. He is the Author and Perfecter of your faith. He is the One who wrote your story as you are unraveling it today.

Go through the pain but don’t stay there. Suffering is not your friend. Jesus is. He wants you to live in freedom and have everlasting joy in the midst of your circumstances. He desires that you rest in His perfect love that casts out all fear, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and anything holding you back from living a full life of joy in Him.

There is a time for everything under the sun.

So mourn for a while and then let go but all the while never stop looking at Jesus.
