One-of-A-Kind Masterpiece

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Ephesians 2:10

You are a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. You have been chosen by God to be His beloved daughter. You were adopted by God into His royal family and holy priesthood. God wanted you. He desired to have you. He chose you from the beginning and said, “I want her.”

He looked at your shame, guilt, condemnation, brokenness and sin. He said, “I still want her,” despite your insecurities, God chose you. He called you worthy. He called you whole. He called you healed and set free.

If you have ever questioned your worth or dealt with feelings of unworthiness, believing that you are not enough, I want to gently remind you to look at Jesus. Look into His eyes. Set your gaze on His gaze. Be captivated by His love. Look at Him. He sees you only with eyes of deep love, affection, compassion, and tenderness.

Jesus paid the price for all of it! He calls you worthy and dearly loved. You are His perfect masterpiece not because of what you’ve done but because of the identity that God has given you through His unconditional love and His precious blood sacrifice on the cross. He gave you resurrection power so that you could walk in holiness, purity, and righteousness. Not by earning any of it, but by simply saying yes to God and knowing your identity in Jesus.

This is who you are. You were meant for greatness. You were meant for more than settling for second best. You were called for glorious things that can only be accomplished through the Holy Spirit.

You are a one of a kind masterpiece that God has chosen to be His daughter.
