My Lovely Dove: Embracing Your Identity in Christ & God’s Tender Love

“My dove in the clefts of the rock, in the hiding places on the mountainside, show me your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.”
Song of Songs 2:14 NIV
The old man is a constant liar.
She will tell you lies about yourself constantly and you might even agree without realizing. Know that you are not alone.
The world has replaced God's love with judgement, and tried to make you believe that you have to be a certain way for Him to love you. But Jesus came to earth to show us that you can come to Him however you are, and the most beautiful thing is that He thinks that you are so strong just for looking His direction.
He says innumerable things about how pure and lovely you are. He wastes away His days thinking about how much He loves you. He's waiting at the end of the aisle to tear away your veil and call you ‘His’ forever, and all you need to say is ‘yes.’
Jesus takes your old scraps for clothes and dresses you in pure white, not because you did anything but because He loves you and makes you new. In your new attire, He calls you clean and pure! So boast in the Lord and what He calls you, dove!
Tell the old man that you have been made new through the blood of Jesus! No longer are you what the past calls you, you are redeemed!
Be blessed <3
