5 Prompts to Guide Your Story

Feeling stuck and don’t know how to get started writing your story? Below, are 5 prompts that you can use for your story. These prompts serve as guiding tools if you need direction and help you begin the process. Feel free to mix and match questions that you will enjoy writing about. Have fun!

Prompt #1:

Discuss challenges you have previously overcome or are currently working through. share your wisdom, revelations, insight, or what you have learned from these experiences. in what ways can you encourage others who are going through the same struggles?


Prompt #2:

Share your journey of triumph. recount the beautiful moments in your life that have inspired, encouraged, or empowered you. tell us about the joyful, loving, or exciting parts of your life that bring a smile to your face and fill you with gratitude.


Prompt #3

Give us a picture of your god-sized dreams and aspirations. If you could do anything in the world without worrying about money, education, skills, or other barriers, what would you do with your life? discuss your purpose and the legacy that you would like to leave behind.


Prompt #4

Helps us to understand who you are. Discuss your cultural background, upbringing, hobbies, goals, etc. talk about the aspects of your life that make you uniquely crafted by god.


Prompt #5

Share your advice, encouragement, love notes, and guidance with us. what tools, knowledge, wisdom, or experiences have helped you succeed in areas of your life? how have these strategies helped you overcome challenges?
