I loved it. Just spending time with other believers sharing burdens. Getting encouragement. Shutting down the lies. Having people who can relate and understand the struggles of life and then share how God has helped them. All of that strengthens and encourages me. Also, when I started reading the Word and got emotional, I also got super super hot all over my body. I wonder if that was the Holy Spirit healing me. Thank you for starting a space where we can fellowship.

One thing that I admire about this is that it left such great room for us to get to know you, but also get to know those around us and for that I thank you! Another thing that stood out to me is how you handled approaching the anxieties people get about starting their paintings. Surely I don't think this will be the last time you encounter people who feel nervous/are overthinking the art activity, but I strongly feel that they're in good hands with your encouragement! I attended the creative healing workshop at Echo Park, and let me tell you, the vibes were immaculate. There were blankets and pillows and snacks, and just about all the painting supplies you could ever need, and the fountains shooting off in the lake provided the perfect backdrop. Sarahi fostered a safe space to discuss our trauma through art, while reminding us all that we're amazing! As we painted, there were a series of questions that let us dive further and further into the topic-of-the-day. It gets really deep, but it's an emotionally rewarding experience all around. Highly recommend! Painting skills not required!

I absolutely enjoyed my time at this healing workshop! It was well thought out and organized in terms of the setting, structure, and especially when it came to the introduction of the theme for that workshop: self-love. Sarita, you did a great job by opening up and asking some deep and appropriately generalized (where I felt it was easy for your audience to answer- a good thing to get everyone involved!) questions from the very beginning to get us to dip our toes into the theme. From the beginning and so on, I liked how we progressively got deeper into the subject, and later transitioned into the actual art activity. It was paced really nicely.
